Feaster at the Gecsek House

Thanksgiving was such a hit this year that it only seemed natural to all find our way to the same table again...only this time it was in Bethlehem at the Gecsek House.  The neighborhood, house and company were all beautiful.  We were greeted by baskets full of goodies and sweet flowers.  Everything from the expansive cheese spread to the amazing dinner was delicious.  The table was full of gratefulness, love and laughter!  The kids had their usual wonderful time with each other.   Nothing makes me happier than the sweetness shared between cousins.
Holidays are very different from how they always were.  Traditions have been altered and new ones have developed.  I am grateful for time with family for any occasion but it is extra sweet when "family" is an extension of the people we are appreciative of.  Sometimes we are lucky enough to have special family members and sometimes we are smart enough to create the family we want...one with supportive kindness, open arms and hearts bigger than the feasts.  Thank you to the Gecsek family for extending an invitation to some extended family members...it was truly a joyous day!
