Google Recipe Search
I have used many sites to gather ideas for new recipes but have never used the handy tool that Google offers. With a few simple clicks you can stress the importance of an ingredient or request that one not be needed. I dug through cabinets and played a little made up version of a cooking competition. What do I need to use up? What is available? What would be good? I came up with oatmeal cookies since I seemed to have an abundance of raisins, oats and brown sugar. I punched in what I wanted to use and what ingredients would not work for me and Google came back with Martha. Guess I could've grabbed one of my many Martha publications for the recipe but it worked. They were the most delicious oatmeal cookies ever and I with my little chef next to me making them was as awesome as eating them!
