We are all very excited that our dear friend Gabrielle has joined karate. It means we will get to see each other more often. It means we will get to watch as she kicks a little butt and moves from belt to belt. It also means that occasionally we might talk her mama into eating somewhere with us. It worked this week as we headed right up to Olga's for some Greek food right after class. Little Aubrey even dined on some rice! The three kids sat at a table all by themselves and as I looked over I realized how quickly it is all going...
If you have people that you love find reasons to spend time with them. Invite them. Tell them. Print them out a restaurant.com coupon and ask them to have a gyro. Do whatever it takes. But tell them. Time is precious. Friends are rare. And salads with baklava crumbled on top are a gift from the gods.
